At Joi Digital Marketing, we’re two sisters passionate about helping entrepreneurs and small businesses create brands and websites that truly connect with their audience. From tailored branding to impactful website design, our mission is to empower you to bring your vision to life and grow your business with confidence.

👋🏽Hey there! We’re Ariel and Amariya—sisters, business partners, and the duo behind Joi Digital Marketing. Truth be told, starting this business wasn’t part of some big plan. It was more of a “let’s give this a shot” kind of thing. But looking back, it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

From the start, our goal has been simple: to use our skills and time to help others. Joi Digital Marketing isn’t just about creating a life we love (though we’re big believers in that, too). It’s about making an impact. We’re passionate about helping entrepreneurs and creatives bring their ideas to life in a way that lasts—because we know what it’s like to have a dream and not know how to bring it to the world.

And while we were always told, “You two should work together!” working with your sibling comes with its challenges (you know how siblings are). But when we finally took the leap in the summer 2023, everything just clicked. What started as an experiment became a full-on business, and we’ve been loving the journey ever since.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO?

Let’s be real: starting a business is hard. One of the hardest parts? Figuring out how to actually connect with the people who need what you offer. We kept seeing entrepreneurs and small business owners with incredible ideas but no clear way to reach their audience—or even figure out who that audience was.

That’s where we come in. At Joi, we help you build a brand that feels *like you* and a website that works as hard as you do. Sure, we love making things look beautiful 💁🏽‍♀️ (who doesn’t?), but it’s about so much more than that. We focus on creating something that communicates your vision, speaks directly to your audience, and sets you up for long-term success.

We’re all about the research 🔎—diving deep into what makes your people connect—and turning that into a brand and website that’s not just functional but meaningful. Whether you’re starting from scratch or leveling up, we’re here to make your brand work smarter, not harder.

HOW WE FOUND OUR GROOVE?

When we started Joi, we tried a little bit of everything: social media management, Facebook and Google ads, SEO, retainers—you name it. But nothing really felt right 😭.

Then, we took on our first full branding and website design project, and something just clicked. Helping a client define their brand, craft their messaging, and bring it all to life visually? That lit us up. It was creative, challenging, and most importantly, impactful. From that moment on, we knew this was what we were meant to do 🙌🏽.

LESSON WE'VE LEARNED ALONG THE WAY.

We won’t sugarcoat it—starting a business is no walk in the park. In the beginning, imposter syndrome hit *hard*🤦🏽‍♀️. Competing with so many talented people in this industry? It was intimidating. But we reminded ourselves that every expert started somewhere, and the only way to grow was to keep showing up, no matter what.

Another big lesson? Research matters. Early on, we didn’t do enough of it for *our own brand* (oops) 🤭. We threw together a logo that looked nice but didn’t actually speak to the audience we wanted to attract. So, we went back to the drawing board. We rebranded, got clear on who we wanted to serve, and leaned into what made us unique. That shift changed everything.

Now, we pass that lesson on to our clients: Your brand should feel *authentically you*, but it also needs to connect with your audience. It’s all about finding that sweet spot between personal style and strategic intention—and that’s where we thrive.

OUR VISION FOR JOI DIGITAL MARKETING

🦸🏽‍♀️ We’ve got big plans for Joi Digital Marketing, and we’re just getting started. One of our dreams is to create a collection of Squarespace website templates for entrepreneurs who might not be ready for a full custom design just yet. We’re also working on building a resource hub packed with tips, tools, and inspiration for small business owners.

At the heart of everything we do is community. We don’t just want to be a service provider—we want to be your partner, cheering you on every step of the way. We know what it’s like to start a business and figure things out as you go. You’re not alone, and we’re here to help.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

😁Fun fact: Joi Digital Marketing is named after our mom, Enjoli. She was the hardest worker we’ve ever known, and even though she’s no longer with us, her example inspires everything we do. That said, we’d be remiss not to shout out both of our parents—they’ve been incredible role models. Their perseverance, work ethic, and belief in us laid the foundation for who we are today.
